6月22日（日）に、ボストンチームの6月の清掃活動をしました！前日の天候とは打って変わって少し肌寒い気温の中でゴミ拾いを行いました。よく月間ゴミ拾いに参加していただいていた方が6月いっぱいでボストンを去るということで最後にご挨拶に来てくれたのですが、かわいいかわいい赤ちゃんと一緒にいらっしゃってくれました！赤ちゃんがお腹の中にいる時から参加してくださっていたので時の流れを感じると共に赤ちゃんの成長力にも感激しました！参加者の方々が入れ替わっていくことに少し寂しさを覚えますが、これもボストンチーム特有の文化だなと思い近い将来皆さんがボストンを訪れた際にも続いているそんなチームを目指していきたいと思います！

次回の活動は2ヶ月の休みを挟んで9月14日（日）に引き続き朝の9時半にSmith Campus Center集合ですのでお誘い合わせの上、ぜひお越しください！

On Sunday, June 22, the Boston team held its June cleanup event! Unlike the previous day’s weather, it was a bit chilly as we picked up trash around the area. One of our regular participants, who has joined our monthly cleanups for a long time, came to say goodbye before leaving Boston at the end of June—and this time, she brought her adorable baby with her! She had been joining us even when her baby was still in her belly, so it was truly moving to see how much time has passed and how much her baby has grown.

Although it’s always a little sad to see participants come and go, I’ve come to appreciate that this constant flow of people is part of what makes the Boston team so special. I hope that even years from now, when members revisit Boston, they’ll still find this team continuing its mission with the same energy and warmth.

Our next cleanup will be after a two-month break, on Sunday, September 14, meeting again at 9:30 a.m. at the Smith Campus Center. We hope to see you there—bring your friends and join us!
