We finished off 2025 by doing a Hyde Park clean, and continued to pick up rubbish until we reached a Christmas tree at Martin Place. As this is a time of year where we show our gratitude to those around us, I want to say a very big thank you to everyone who has turned up this year to make a small social contribution and set a good example to those around us. We often feel powerless in the face of the environmental challenges our society and world are facing, but by showing up to clean up, our volunteers have shown the wider community that individuals can take steps to do better, and that our world is in our own hands.

Considering our group was on the small side this month, I think it’s amazing what we managed to pick up in only 1.5 hours.

2025年の活動は終了です！
今年最後の清掃活動はハイドパークから始まり、マーティン・プレイスのクリスマスツリーに到着するまで、ゴミ拾いを続けました。
この時期は、身近な人たちへの感謝の気持ちを表す季節でもあります。今年中に活動に参加して、小さくても社会に良い影響を与えて、周りの人たちに良いお手本を見せてくださった皆さんに、心から感謝しています。
今の世界では、目の前の環境問題はとても大きくて、無力に感じてしまうこともあります。しかし、クリーンアップに参加することで、私たちのボランティアさんは「人間一人一人でも、環境に優しい行動を選ぶことができる」「環境を守るのは一人一人の責任だ」というメッセージを、社会に示してくれました。
今回回収したゴミの量：16.3kg今月は少人数での活動でしたが、わずか1.5時間でこれだけのゴミを回収できたことは、本当に素晴らしい成果だと思います。
常連のボランティアの皆さんも、今回初めて参加してくださった皆さんも、メリークリスマス
皆さんの存在がなければ、この活動は成り立ちません。いつもありがとうございます
