日本語↓ This month, our volunteers ventured to Marrickville for the first time. We focused on the main streets, to both draw attention and because I thought we would find the most rubbish there. It wasn’t overly dirty on a surface level, but as usual, there was no shortage of small pieces of plastic and cigarette butts. In total, we managed to collect 18.5 kg of rubbish in 1.5 hours! The weather was perfect and we were encouraged by several residents who stopped us to thank us and comment on our work. We had quite an international group this time, with volunteers from South America, Japan, Korea, the UK, and of course, Australia. Thank you to the large group that joined us, despite the trackwork and slightly more challenging location to get to. You are much, much appreciated 
今月は、初めてマリックビルで清掃活動を行いました！多くの人に活動を知ってもらいたいという思いから、人の多い通りを中心に掃除を行うことにしました。
ぱっと見たらそれほど汚れているようには見えませんでしたが、いつものように小さなプラスチック片や吸い殻は数多く見つかりました。1時間半の活動で、合計18.5kgものごみを回収することができました！
当日は天候にも恵まれ、通りがかった地域の方々から「ありがとう」と声をかけていただいたり、活動について温かいコメントをいただいたりして、とても励まされました。
今回は特に国際色豊かなグループで、南米、日本、韓国、イギリス、そしてもちろんオーストラリアから参加してくださったボランティアの皆さんと一緒に活動しました。
線路工事による交通の影響がある中、また少しアクセスしづらい場所にもかかわらず、多くの方にご参加いただき本当にありがとうございました。
