This is the first Green bird trash picking program held
for the month of May, 2018.
Rapid 64, the latest Japanese language class volunteered us
for the whole program. Class teachers, Ms. Harada Chihiro,
Ms. Nethmini also helped us to conduct the program successfully.
It was Ms. Harada's first trash picking experience with Green Bird.
She was overwhelmed, and said that she much enjoyed
the program with students. The students too, engaged
in the program very enthusiastically, and later mentioned that
they understood how important it is to keep the environment clean.
Sri Lanka is entering to the rainy season now onward.
Heavy rains fall during this season and Trash picking becomes
a bit hard to conduct. However we will not take a step back and
try our best to hold the program as usual.
A grand salute for all green heroes all over the world~
