Since Green Bird Singapore was on a newspaper article in the Straits Times, delightedly we have had a lot more enquiries. We couldn’t estimate the number of people to join us until it kicks off.

至上最大のお掃除開始！！！！
さぁ、いったい何人集まることやら。
As usual, we met up with a leader of Green Bird Singapore , Junko at MacDonald in East Coast Park.
People have started to turn up from 2:45pm and looked for Junko. More than 20 people turned up by 3pm and ended up 40 people in total! It was the greatest number of people we’ve ever had! It was a great start!
Junkoリーダーといつもどおりマクドナルドで待ち合わせ、ビブスを着て待っていると２時４５分ごろから「Who is Junko？」など言いながら人が集まり出しました。
そして、開始時刻の３時にはすでに２０名以上が集まる状況。すでに過去の最多記録更新です！
Junko was interviewed by a TV reporter.
As usual, we started to pick up litters in the relaxed atmosphere.

そして、いつもどおりゆるーく活動開始！
There were lesser bikes than usual today. We were able to clean the park in safe.
今日はトライアスロンレースがあったからか、自転車も少なくて広いビーチを安全、快適にお掃除できました。
There was a baby turtle on the beach. It needs to be protected
子亀が一人でビーチにいたので、しっかり保護（笑）
Those two dug something out… They were many bits and pieces from candles. It is just like a shellfish gathering!
ん？ 二人で砂をほじくって、コインのようなものを掘り出してるぞ！
よーく見たら、キャンドルの残りカスがざっくっざく。
ホントにたくさん出てきましたよ！
ちょっとだけ潮干狩り気分を味わえました（笑）
The wastes are mostly tins and plastic bottles on the beach. We instructed members to remove bottle caps and to squash bottles and tins to give more space in the litter bags.
ビーチのごみの大半は、空き缶かペットボトル。
今回は、ちゃんとキャップを外して、潰してから袋に入れるように指導。
A group of people were playing tugs of war.
地元の人達（たぶんフィリピンの人）が綱引きをやっていました。
どっちも頑張れ-！
All of us were taken a picture together! Members are from Japan, Singapore and Australia. It is so Singapore as being a cosmopolitan country.
Our next clean up location will be Little India. I hope many more people will join us.

日本人の他にシンガポーリアンやオーストラリアの人も加わって、シンガポールらしく国際色豊かなメンバーが揃いましたよ〜
来月（１０月）は、リトルインディアです。
