ในกิจกรรม Green Bird Bangkok ครั้งที่ 3 มีคนให้ความสนใจและเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจำนวน 100 คน
เราได้แบ่งพื้นที่เก็บขยะเป็น 4 โซน ซึ่งรวมทั้งหมดแล้วเราเก็บขยะเป็นจำนวน 40 ถุง

ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5
หนูรู้สึกถึงความตั้งใจในการเก็บขยะของทุกคนมากๆ ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมมีตั้งแต่น้องๆ ชั้นประถมไปจนถึงพี่ๆชั้นมัธยม
ทุกคนต่างช่วยกันเก็บขยะเเละคัดแยกขยะกันอย่างจริงจัง แสดงให้เห็นถึงความตั้งใจของทุกคนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้
อีกทั้งหนูได้ประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆที่ไม่เคยทำมาก่อน เป็นครั้งแรกที่ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแบบนี้ และได้สร้างความทรงจำที่ดี
ได้สร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพี่ๆ น้องๆ ทำให้ได้เจอเพื่อนใหม่ๆ และได้แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับการคัดแยกขยะ
แต่ละชนิด
ทุกคนเก็บขยะในแต่ละพื้นที่ที่กำหนดไว้ ซึ่งตัวหนูเองอยู่โซน 1 ที่อยู่ในอุทยาน 100 ปี จุฬาฯ ขยะส่วนมากที่พบคือ
ขวดน้ำดื่ม กระดาษชำระ และกระดาษ หนูคิดว่าที่ขยะส่วนใหญ่เป็นของจำพวกนี้ เพราะว่าสถานที่นี้
เป็นพื้นที่สาธารณะที่คนจำนวนมากได้เข้ามาใช้พื้นที่ในการทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ และพักผ่อนร่วมกับเพื่อนและครอบครัว
ซึ่งกิจกรรมพวกนี้ได้สร้างขยะที่ละน้อย จนเกิดการสะสมเป็นจำนวนมาก
การที่เราได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Green Bird Bangkok ทำให้เรามีความรอบคอบมากขึ้น
ทำให้ตระหนักได้ว่าการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะ เราทุกคนจำเป็นต้องมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม
รวมถึงทำให้ช่วยฝึกทั้งความอดทน ความสามัคคี เเละทักษะการทำงานร่วมกัน
นอกจากนี้การแยกขยะยังเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญและมีความจำเป็นต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
อีกทั้งยังทำให้โลกที่เราอยู่อาศัยน่าอยู่มากขึ้นอีกด้วยค่ะ
The 3rd Green Bird Bangkok attracted over a hundred participants! We divided the clean up area into 4 different zones, and collected 40 bags of garbage filled to the very brim.
To change things up a little, we decided to conduct a brief interview with one of the student participants in the event.
“I could sense the strong urge of wanting to make the area clean from everyone, literally from elementary school kids to highschool students. They all actively collected and diligently sorted out garbage. Since this is my first time ever participating in an activity of such nature, I got to experience many new things, such as connecting with new people in a short amount of time and exchanging knowledge about garbage separation.
I was assigned to be in Zone 1 located in Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park. Most types of garbage found were plastic bottles, used tissue and scrap paper.
Having the opportunity to be a part of Green Bird Bangkok taught me several valuable lessons - from waste separation to teamwork and leadership skills. The event allowed me to develop a sense of responsibility as a rational citizen, as well as to improve our grit and reduce carelessness as we hunt for every little piece of trash in the striking rays of Thailand’s sun.
I realize how vital it is to help protect and maintain the environment we live in and ultimately, the world around us.”
